Lindsey: Today, we are putting together our blog and figuring out how we will update everyone on our upcoming adventures. I've done lots of writing on FB (as some of you previously suffered through on my last big road trip) but never tried actual blogging so please be patient with me (or just don't follow this, seriously it's time for you to make grown-up decisions). The human bear is insisting on typing her own portions of each blog and giving input on all titles; therefore, this will be an interesting process as you can see by the negotiations clearly involved in comping up with our first title. I always say you grow through the struggles AND BOY OH BOY are we about to experience some growth! The stuffed bear is (not surprisingly) more compliant than the human bear but somehow seems agitated by the idea of contributing to the blog...it may be her lack of fingers.

Ella: I am so excited about the trip and packing and driving and seeing the Grand Canyon. I am so excited to go to California this summer and see my new baby cousin, Dax! I am excited to have lots of fun! I am so happy to go on this trip. I am so happy to see the Grand Canyon. It will be so fun. In the car, I will be so excited.
