Adventure Stop #18: Las Vegas Strip: Las Vegas Valley, NV
Lindsey: This was NOT on the agenda...we were staying with our friends in Henderson, NV and who knew that was only 10 miles from the strip?! I surely did not until about a week ago when I tried to show pictures of it to Ella. She saw Paris and the Eiffel Tower and said it was a MUST. I am baffled at how excited she gets about this stuff but it must just be in her blood (and not the blood that is related to me)! I was wearing my best Old Navy look today and this is the child...
She better make some big bucks one day b/c she has some fancy taste.
The VERY first thing she said when she saw the Bellagio is "LOOK, IT'S MY NAME in that sign...I see E.L.L.A." I must admit though, it was great to watch her expression when she saw the fountains for the first time: (https://youtu.be/RrsydEb_9zY).
"Can you please take a video and send it to Mlle. Marie?" (https://youtu.be/NEcapXrVp6k) No clue what she said but it sounds good to me. I couldn't stop laughing because she was so baffled as to why no one could actually speak French. She will have to check out the real Paris one day but I think I'll leave that up to Jason! haha
I can't make this up, I walked up to the hostess at this spot (the human bear insisted we eat at a restaurant with a French name) and after I said "two please" she said they only had one very small table left available. She then saw Ella and started talking to her. As we were being seated the woman stopped and sat us here (picture above: big four top front and center of the restaurant), looked Ella straight in the eye and said, "You're just way too beautiful not to have a big table where everyone can see you." Uhm, excuse me what? So maybe my Old Navy outfit and uncombed hair was a bad decision? This child has no clue what the real world is like because she has never lived in it. Constant entertainment.

When in France...haha We parked at the Venetian and walked almost a mile just to get to Paris (but the parking was free) the child deserved to enjoy a fancy pastry. I can't be too harsh on the food when she was living the good French life.
We got back to the Venetian without a problem...finding the parking garage to get to the car was another story; however, on the adventure we found this cool LOVE setup to take a pic with:)
We got over 12,000 steps today and walked 5 miles and then it was right on to playing outside with Basil.
Growing, picking and eating. I love everything about this! It also kept cracking me up b/c Basil was picking and eating basil. How much Basil can you find in this pic?
Ella: Can't be bothered to blog when she is with a friend! I did get verbal confirmation that her favorite today was seeing the Eiffel Tower and the Bellagio Fountains.
