COVID-19 Week 3

Just rolling along, Week 3 has us calling/texting each other within the same house although we see each other daily, creating survival weapons and saying "good morning" to neighbors when we pass by not realizing it's 3PM.

Even though we are going a little nuts, there's always more to learn, so HERE WE GO:

OCD/Organization 101: This is offering me time to take my OCD nature to the next level! Why not color code the calendars...I get this from my Dad. haha Come on April, I'm not scared of you!

Unleash the Crazy Class: the Human Bear has now started calling me from her messenger on the Tablet then comes to find me. Not only are we on the same property talking (b/c 24-7 contact isn't enough) but then yes that is her in the background of my chat. haha Sometimes you just have to allow the crazy to flow. Currently realizing how much I love my alone time.

Listening to the Universe Class: Sometimes the world just knows what you need. By week 3, I DID need some NOLA Bounce Essentials...Get it Ready.

Relaxation Class: Sitting still and listening to the wind blow through the trees!

Just in case you don't believe me on the wind, you can enjoy it too!

Harvesting Class: Beast Mode is using shallots from the yard to cook us dinner tonight!
Independent Reading: Healthy food, reading a book...I'm learning to relax on the messy house a little bit. Y'all saw the calendar. It's painful but necessary.

Still working on my fitness! There's always fun ways to get it done.

Thankful for Neighbors: We still don't own a lawnmower yet for this new yard so I had to borrow one from the best neighbors EVER! Thanks Tates!! Collin walked it over and wiped everything with a clorox wipe, I mowed and returned it and wiped it down with a wipe (gas can included in the wiping!)

Weed Eater Class: I HIGHLY recommend before and after pictures for motivation! I'd been meaning to get to this. I almost lost a few limbs, electrocuted myself and broke things but I survived and got this space together. Most of my cuts are healing quite nicely.

Etiquette Class: Although we are social distancing, it's still important to practice talking with friends. Beast Mode and the Human Bear share lemongrass tea and talk about their week!

Even when I have NOT a clue what is being said, Nailed It, in French is HILARIOUS! The Human Bear has now turned all closed captions, speaking and writing on the TV to French so neither of the adults in the house can navigate anything!

Joy Class: This man LOVES a dog! Thanks for letting us sit way far apart in your yard neighbors! Look at that smile.

Plant Based Easy Peasy - Roast some veggies, slap some hummus and roasted veggies on a tortilla. Throw it in a pan and heat it up. Cover with your favorite spices. All Bears in this house can now make this. Thank you for attending my cooking class!

Family Activity Time: First family walk in the new hood!

Boring Breakfast? NEVER, oatmeal every day but you can slap whatever fruit you want on it to change it up, the Human Bear adds granola and everyone tries to earn a breakfast cookie (which is just more of all of these things baked together haha Mom tricks!)

Gardening Class: We were worried about this peach tree still being alive. Good to know that you just scratch it and if it's green then it's still alive. The Human Bear says, "still good! I see green!"

Elective: Moping her slide with a broom in this outfit. A plus for originality as always!

There's always more yard to figure out! I'm having a blast figuring out what I need to learn and how I want it to look. All while building more muscles.

In case you need more activity...here's a stretching idea with some water aerobics.

Socializing Class: Still contacting your favorite people is VERY important! I hate talking on the phone but over an hour with Maxine feels like a few minutes:) Laughing and talking about anything and everything under the sun. Looking forward to the next check in.

Running Out of Ideas Class: Go find all those gifts and games that your child was given at some point and you swore you would get to them...now is the time!

Machine Operating Class: The Human Bear can now operate a food processor and a Kitchnaid mixer by herself! Breakfast cookies and peanut butter no longer need my hovering and monitoring. AMEN. The amount of food and dishes may scar me forever. One of those big ass freezers would be awesome right now.

Pride Class: Take pride in what you do and then enjoy. I must say peanut butter is delicious and easy. 5 cups of peanuts in a food processor...turn it on until it makes peanut butter. End of lesson!

Accepting Differences Class: Yes, we live in the same country, state, city on the same street and in the same house. Somehow, this is us around 3 PM each day. Our color coordination is on point though!

Caretaking: Letting the Human Bear make some decisions and try some thigns!

Hours of Distraction Class: Practice eating rice with chopsticks. It takes a long time to get all that rice in your body with only chopsticks!
Veggie Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms: Just b/c I made them and they were DELICIOUS!

Runway Model Class: When you send the Human Bear to get dressed for yard work...this is what you get along with the all natural pose!

Weekend Relaxation: We are thankful to be healthy and have this time together. Our old people version of street ball is chasing a tennis ball round and round and sometimes digging it out of bushes! I'm sure it was a fun sight to see.

This child is so organized and it makes me proud! More Albertsons coupons to come for some of you out there.

Action Shot: I don't even know if the tennis ball is in this picture and it makes me laugh! Thanks for excellent photography skills from the Human Bear.

Progress Pic: this puzzle is kicking my ass!

If you are still scrolling, I'm happy you're healthy enough to see this and sorry you have hit that level of boredom. Thanks to everyone that is staying home and helping to keep people safe and well. We miss seeing everyone's lovely faces and are looking forward to some quality time as soon as this is all over!
