Good Loyd!

After an AMAZING sleep in South Carolina, it is time to keep on trucking. Slowly but surely we only have a couple of nights until we get to see Jason again! What a better way to get motivated to keep going than to see some people that are your favorites?!

To get there, we must first hit up the Georgia Welcome Center and they sure had a lot of things going on in there. The Human Bear insisted on some very specific pics, boomerangs and videos. Here are just a couple.

Stop One Hundred One: Georgia Welcome Center - I-20, Tallapoosa, GA 30176

We can't go near Atlanta without seeing the Loyds! I knew we would see Deirdre and Andrea and that was enough to make us insanely happy, so imagine our surprise when Jordan answered the door, jumping for joy! I was certain he would already be back to NBA craziness (technically, I guess he was b/c he worked out until after we went to sleep and was already out at the gym again before we woke up!).

If you don't know Jordan Loyd, you are missing out, and if you care to know, check out my blog specifically about him here: (https://www.thebearchronicles.com/post/the-random-dude-in-a-suit-with-the-face); otherwise, just keep on scrolling.

My first time to hug an NBA Champion! Whoohoo Congrats again:)

Poor Jordan, he can't eat all the bad things before heading to Vegas in a couple of days and we ate all of the bad things in front of him (the Human Bear even taunted him with shaping her pizza as a heart to test his discipline). He did his best to ignore our foolishness and was very gracious about it!

It was so nice to hang with the same humble, genuine character even after all of the excitement and attention he's gotten this year (much deserved). Not only was he gracious enough to smell all the greasy food and not give us a hard time but we definitely ruined a few of his naps as well:) Three practices a day and healthy eating...he's giving this his all: just as expected from a Loyd.

Stop One Hundred and Two: Loyd's House

This was both hilarious and terrifying, which pretty much sums up parenting!

Deirdre and I kept getting sucked in to this terrible show no matter how hard we tried to come up with topics to catch up on. The Human Bear kept tossing Beast Mode and yelling, "Look Beast Mode's on TV" as she would fly and block the projection. Ah, the things that entertain us are so different.

The Human Bear LOVES to disappear to the basement and talk her way into extra technology time. Sometimes, I actually need her assistance, so I sent her down in the morning to see if Deirdre wanted me to get her anything while I was out getting my coffee...THIRTY MINUTES LATER, I walk down to find these two just laughing and hanging out...the Human Bear totally forgot she was sent down to get information for me so I could leave to get morning coffee. Not cool child!

The Loyd's house is an annual trip for us during Thanksgiving Break. We both DIED laughing when we rolled out the Human Bear's usual sleeping bag and she found a sock she had been missing! We must have rolled it up on our last visit when we were cleaning up and not even noticed. hahaha Hot Mess this one.

Sorry about that whole sleeping thing you needed Jordan! It's just because we love you so much.

This was a whirlwind of less than 24 hours, but as always, it's an uplifting experience to be around this crew. We will miss you all until next time. Thank you again for having us!

I never have as many good pictures as I want when I leave here but it's b/c we are usually enjoying each other's company instead! That's when you know it's a great spot:)
