We made it to New York...whoop whoop. There may or may not be a bird dive bombing our heads b/c it has a nest it's protecting close by. Not scary at all.
These two were SO excited to see each other and they are exactly alike! It just has to be seen in real life and I don't have time to chronicle all the similarities.
After stopping by a Ukrainian Festival and realizing we were too fussy to stand outside in the heat and eat hot food, we headed to Rory's. When we walked in, multiple bar tenders yelled, "It's Ella!" and introduced themselves. I was just along for the ride:)
It's nice to have a break from playing games. Thanks Auntie Dana!
It's the Shaq angle...always a fun view!
Again, breathable weather and nature, that is one powerful combination! We did our workouts, jumping rope, and then just enjoyed the scenery and weather:)
I hear there's ice cream in walking distance from the house...
If the Human Bear requests it, it becomes a reality!
I was told that there was a special surprise made for me...it was a remote and television. haha She's so creative sometimes.
Then we got to hear a bedtime story from the Human Bear herself.
I get spoiled here too! No wonder Vacation Jason doesn't like to travel with me. I was SO happy to have a guest pass to Dana's gym so I could still get my workouts on:)
When jumping rope becomes too easy, we add huge slippers!
Look, I match the couch pillows!
We decided before hitting the big city we would see some different spots around here so we could recovery from the long drive. Why not a grocery store with a petting zoo...that doesn't happen everywhere!
To Bronxville we go and bar #2 where the bar tender sees Ella and is more than excited, "Hey Ella, so nice to meet you!" as I stand there "yeah, nice to meet you...just call me Ella's mom"
No one can be mad when there are unlimited free goldfish!
This may be the trip of classic movies...ET phone home!
Goodnight, NY two nights down...MANY to go!
