She Works Hard for the Money!

There's not much time to stop and blog at this point because it's work time! We started with a school tour on the first day and now we have back to back conference sessions for the rest of the week. Thought I'd share some shots of an amazing school that we got to tour.

This looked like a college campus and the students had so much freedom. I love how much they are trusted at this school.

Have lunch with mountains in the background? Yes please!

The students pick a major freshman year and have to stick with it all four years. This was the education major so they can watch through observation room to learn about teaching methodology.

This school runs a restaurant 4 days a week and it is open to the public.

Cosmetology is open to the public as well and these students leave with certifications that would cost 1,000s of dollars to get themselves after school.

Working hard!

The nursing majors were pulling a post-it when a skill on it and then had to perform the skill on a patient. Really fun to watch and ask the students about their experiences.

And here we are with the 20-something vs. 40-something road trip. The outfits, attitudes and hair intensity have all slightly changed....
