Last stop before being reunited with the Daddy Bear!
We had to take off early from the Loyd's to break up this last stretch. The idea of almost 6 hours in the car the day before my high school reunion festivities kick off in over 100 degree heat was too much to bear...also too much Bear, we went STRAIGHT to the pool of our next hotel to let out some energy from our 3 hour car ride.
It was so hot that the pool was warm...but it was better than sitting in the heat without it!
I was certain we would just stay at the hotel but they had a list of sights to see and this would make Jason SO happy. As we left, the Human Bear said, "maybe we can jam out to some Hank Williams songs on the way back." haha Sure Bear.
This was the most elaborate burial area I've ever seen and it was so well kept up. The whole cemetery was actually really pretty and odd to be driving on hillsides surrounded by gravesites. We may have gotten a little turned around before finding this...it was and experience to say the least.
On to the Mellow Mushroom in downtown Montgomery! I don't know why I thought Montgomery was a big city...it felt like Baton Rouge. It was 5 on a work day and you couldn't tell anyone lived or worked there. I needed indulged in a refreshment.
The Human Bear highly approved of this place. The artwork was cool and reminded us of Nicole's shop b/c most of the things were repurposed and recycled items.
I will never understand people. The waitress brought the Human Bear a cookie for free before her food even came out and said to me, "I just love her face!" Uhm, what? How about my face? Can you NOT charge me for that beer instead or giving the tiny human free sugar? We already got free sugar at every other stop!
Again, we are hitting the delirious part of our trip. We don't know if we are happy, sad, tired, hyper or what. Off to our final party spot after this and then it will be back to boot camp to get us into our routines again!
This looks like an amazing shot full of laughter, after that video you can see, we don't know what emotion it truly is...goodbye Montgomery, it's been real. Really confusing for us.
